Jade Buford Race Car Driver

Jade was one of two drivers on June 19 , 2010 , in the red #30 Mazda RX-8 in the Rolex Grand-AM Sports Car Series GT Class at Mid-Ohio which is a 2.3 mile, 13 turn world famous road course located in Lexington, Ohio.  Jade’s co-driver was Jordan Taylor (19 years old).

Jade and Jordan  finished 3rd, only 1 second behind the race GT winner and only 2/100’s of a second behind the 2nd place GT car.  Jordan qualified the car for the race and won the pole position.

This was only Jade’s third Rolex race and his first podium finish.  Jade was also awarded the Akin Outstanding Driver Award for the race.  This race was shown on worldwide cable TV Speed Channel and viewed by millions.
